Volumio Remote — CYD Install

Flash your 2.8" CYD (Cheap Yellow Display) with the Volumio Remote firmware directly from your browser. No Arduino IDE required.

This installer needs the Web Serial API. It works in Chrome, Edge, Opera, and recent versions of Firefox on desktop — not in Safari. Please try one of those browsers.
Before you start:
  1. First time flashing a CYD/CH340-based board on this computer? It needs a driver before your browser can see it as a serial port — without it, "Connect & Install" will show an empty port list. Windows driver · macOS driver · Linux usually works with no driver needed.
  2. Connect your CYD board to this computer with a USB data cable (not charge-only).
  3. Click "Connect & Install" above, then choose the correct serial port from the browser prompt.
  4. The tool will erase the board and flash the selected firmware automatically.
  5. Once it finishes, the board will reboot into Volumio Remote.
  6. Follow the on-screen prompts to set up WiFi. When that's done, press the board's physical reset button once — this is required for icons and fonts to display correctly on first setup.
